Kian enjoys connecting with others to understand their goals, challenges, and priorities, tailoring his work to meet their needs. He appreciates a team where everyone’s strengths come together to support one another.

Beyond the office, Kian is passionate about weightlifting and staying active, which helps him maintain discipline and energy. Raised in North Vancouver, Kian enjoys spending time outdoors with friends and family and supporting local businesses, reflecting his roots growing up in a family of local business owners.

Crystal Zhang

Junior Accountant

Crystal’s passion lies in turning complex challenges into practical solutions. She finds it rewarding when her work can make someone’s day easier or strengthen their business. As a Junior Accountant, Crystal is passionate about helping clients navigate their finances with confidence.

She loves collaborating with colleagues on everything from year-end files to complex tax issues, learning from their expertise, and building trust with clients along the way. Crystal thrives in an environment where teamwork and shared knowledge make every project an opportunity to grow.

Outside of work, Crystal enjoys practicing yoga, experimenting with new recipes, and traveling to new places. She also values quality time with her family, whether exploring local parks or enjoying quiet evenings at home.

Harmehak Kaur

Junior Accountant

Harmehak was drawn to accounting from a love of working with numbers and bringing financial clarity of information. As a Junior Accountant, she finds every report, business and change in regulations exciting, knowing there’s always something new to learn.

She enjoys working closely with clients and her team to find solutions that truly make a difference. Whether it’s helping clients uncover opportunities to optimize finances or collaborating with colleagues to explore new approaches, Harmehak feels motivated by contributing to a team that values integrity and progress.

In her free time, Harmehak relaxes by swimming and exploring new places, especially those that allow her to connect with nature. She approaches her work with curiosity, guided by the advice she values most: never be afraid to ask questions.

Raina Bellani

Senior Relationship Manager

From a young age, Raina has always been interested in solving calculations and numbers, which drove her to pursue a career in Accounting as a CPA. 13 years later, she still loves the creativity she gets to bring with taxes and advisory. As a Senior Relationship Manager at Provision CPA, she assists in finding solutions to the entrepreneur’s accounting and tax needs. She does this by constantly trying to think ‘big picture’ and finding ways to make tax and accounting as simple as possible for her clients.

What Raina enjoys most about her role is meeting new people and learning about their businesses and challenges. The best piece of advice she’s ever been given was “we constantly need to change, grow, and learn.”

Outside of work, you’ll find her spending time with her two little ones and hubby. She also loves to travel and has spent 27 years in busy Mumbai, India!

Kulveer Dhillon

Senior Accountant

Kulveer is a Senior Accountant at Provision CPA. To Kulveer, developing relationships and trust with business owners and guiding them through everyday situations is what she finds most fulfilling. She’s always up for a challenge and appreciates the autonomy Provision provides to work with a diverse roster of businesses and coming up with solutions to their problems.

The best piece of advice she’s ever received was to “count your blessings no matter what else is going on in life.”

When Kulveer’s not working, you’ll find her spending time with family and friends, tutoring, or exercising.

Nikhil Sharma

Staff Accountant

Nikhil is a Staff Accountant at Provision CPA, driven by his passion for taxation and the constant challenge it presents. The dynamic nature of tax law keeps him engaged, and his curiosity to expand his knowledge motivates him every day. Nikhil finds fulfillment in being of service to clients, ensuring their personal and business accounting needs are met with care and precision.

With a client-centered approach, his focus is on solving complex problems and understanding the unique needs of each client. He finds the most satisfaction in solving complex tax-related issues and supporting his peers. The collaborative nature of the team makes each challenge more rewarding, and Nikhil’s commitment to continuous learning helps him stay ahead in an ever-evolving field.

Outside of work, Nikhil is passionate about cars and fitness, enjoying solo drives and staying active in the gym. If he weren’t in accounting, he’d likely be a car mechanic!

Stefanie Jordan

Client Resource Manager

As the Client Resource Manager, Stefanie wears many hats. Front-facing, she spearheads onboarding for new clients and answers front desk phone calls and emails, while internally managing Provision CPA’s Admin team behind the scenes. Stefanie enjoys the act of troubleshooting and figuring out how to solve problems in a way that adds value to her clients and ensures they feel heard.

Stefanie has worked at Provision CPA for over seven years now and she describes every day as an adventure. She’s fulfilled by the constant ability to learn and take on something new, with the personal and professional support of her team.

The most important thing to know about Stefanie: Don’t let her RBF fool you, she loves to laugh and make others laugh, too!

Ann Bacolod

Administrative Assistant

Ann is an Administrative Assistant at Provision CPA, driven by her desire to continuously learn, improve, and tackle new challenges. She thrives in roles where problem-solving and making meaningful improvements are key, finding fulfillment in both her past achievements and the opportunities for growth that lie ahead.

After working with larger companies and teams, she was excited to join a smaller firm that offers more diverse opportunities to make an impact.

What Ann enjoys most is connecting with clients and her team through conversation. Known for her ability to build relationships through communication, she values the bonds formed by simply talking and listening, whether with clients or colleagues.

Guided by the advice, “A bad day doesn’t mean a bad life,” Ann remains motivated even through setbacks, focusing on maintaining perspective and staying positive. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active through running, hiking, and dancing.

Ahmed El-Alem

Relationship Manager

Ahmed is a Relationship Manager at Provision CPA. With an analytical mindset and a passion for business, Ahmed pursued a career in accounting after studying business at Kwantlen Polytechnic University.

In his work as Senior Accountant & Assistant Manager, Ahmed gained extensive experience managing year-end engagements, mentoring staff, and building strong client relationships. These roles provided him with the expertise and confidence to transition into his current position, where he focuses on advanced tax planning, higher-level engagement reviews, and helping clients navigate complex financial strategies to fuel their business growth.

Ahmed is excited to deepen his client relationships and provide valuable advisory services, ensuring that clients receive tailored financial advice year-round. His commitment to supporting entrepreneurs and guiding them through critical business decisions remains at the core of his work.

Outside the office, Ahmed enjoys exploring the natural beauty of BC. The best advice he’s received: “Focus on improving at your passion and the rewards will follow.”

Bita Bassir

Senior Accountant

With over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, Bita has had quite the career journey – from owning a bakery, then a flower shop, to selling real estate and getting her Mortgage Broker license, she’s done it all.

Some time ago, Bita decided to go back to school and start a new journey in becoming a CPA. She now brings the passion and determination of an entrepreneurial spirit to her team and clients at Provision CPA.

Bita’s goal is to make her clients’ “accounting life” as stress-free and straightforward as possible. Her strength lies in her ability to speak the “entrepreneurial language”.

The best piece of advice she’s been given is to “give 110% in everything you do”, whether that’s troubleshooting client issues, or riding her scooter (rain or shine) you’ll find Bita fully committing to the job.

Ravi Kataria

Staff Accountant

Ravi is a Staff Accountant at Provision CPA, driven by a passion for helping businesses make informed financial decisions. His love for accounting comes from his ability to analyze data and transform it into actionable insights that help clients navigate complex financial challenges. Ravi enjoys making numbers “tell the real story”, guiding clients to understand their financial position and make strategic decisions.

Ravi thrives in the supportive and collaborative environment at Provision, where teamwork and knowledge-sharing help him grow both professionally and personally. He enjoys tackling unique client challenges, finding practical solutions, and continuously learning from his team.

Outside of work, Ravi stays active with regular gym sessions and has a keen interest in geopolitics and anime. His approach to work and life is shaped by the advice: “Pain is temporary, but the regret of not trying lasts forever,” which motivates him to keep pushing forward and always give his best.

Oliver Porter

Manager

From strategic alignment through to execution, as a Manager, Oliver is involved in supporting every stage of the entrepreneur’s journey at Provision CPA.

Oliver brings experience from working at a large firm in the UK, but he prefers to work in a closer-knit environment where he can be more involved in delivering impact and results for clients. Oliver finds working with people who have a real passion for their companies contagious, proving to him that there IS a way to make accounting “exciting” (most of the time).

What you might not know about Oliver, is that bookkeeping is his superpower. Most people don’t like dealing with the financial side of things – luckily, that’s where he thrives. His experience working with a variety of businesses and industries of different sizes gives Oliver a lens into understanding how to manage and help achieve each client’s unique desire.

The best piece of advice he was ever given? “Never turn down an invitation to do something new.”

Kristen Duncanson

Director of Operations

Kristen is the Director of Operations at Provision CPA, where she combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to optimize day-to-day operations. Her focus is on aligning her team for seamless collaboration, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and ensuring clients receive exceptional service.

With a background as an Administrative Database Analyst, Kristen has developed strong skills in organization, communication, and process optimization. These abilities have been key in streamlining workflows, managing schedules, and tackling complex challenges to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.

In her current role, Kristen is refining her leadership skills, focusing on motivating her team, strategic planning, and quality assurance. She is dedicated to enhancing processes to improve accuracy and timeliness in client service.

Outside of work, Kristen’s creativity shines in the kitchen, experimenting with new recipes. Fun fact; she once worked as a Beer Quality Tech at a brewery, where she discovered her passion for process improvement—a passion she now brings to her role at Provision.

Maria Lee

Staff Accountant

Maria is a Senior Accountant who has been at Provision CPA for over 13 years, working directly with entrepreneurs and getting to know their businesses and lives on a deep level. Ultimately, she wants every client to feel that she is there for them. To Maria, it’s not just about numbers or making sure everything looks correct on paper – she wants every business owner to feel heard.

Maria views every challenge as a new experience and brings positivity to problem-solving. At the end of the day, she goes home feeling fulfilled knowing she gave her all.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Maria knocking off another local trail from her long list of hikes. Since she was a Girl Guide Leader for 20 years, she knows her stuff! Ask her for her B.C. hiking bucket list.

Johnny Yip

Manager

Johnny is a Manager at Provision CPA, with accounting industry experience from small local firms to large international firms. He makes sure that every client is in the most tax optimal position by performing quality control on files to ensure accuracy.

Johnny takes on any opportunity to put his entrepreneurial hat on! At the firm, he enjoys working closely with entrepreneurs and helping them to navigate the ups and downs of owning a business. Johnny believes that the key to success lies in providing excellent customer service and finds deep fulfillment in helping his clients grow and focus on their business, without them having to worry about the accounting and tax work in the back-end.

A fun fact you probably didn’t know about Johnny is his love for basketball and hockey (it’s still undecided which one he loves more). Out of the office, he’s shooting hoops with friends and visiting the local park with his family.
