Welcome to the Mentorship Program!

Whether you’re a mentor or a mentee, this page will give you all the tools you needed to get started with Provision’s mentorship program. Additional material will be added to this page as we expand this program to encompass more aspects pertaining to your personal and career growth. Let’s go!

Purpose of the Mentorship Program

At an organizational level, the purpose of the mentorship program is to improve team engagement and promote professional growth. The foundation of this program is built on conducting effective and productive 1:1 meetings which pairs mentees with a designated mentor who can offer them with professional career guidance.

It is important to emphasize and recognize that 1:1s are designed for the mentees to have a time and space to express themselves outside of day-to-day workload updates and timelines. The use of 7Geese will help mentees track their performance objectives, key results. and overall growth with regular evaluations and feedback.

One-on-ones (1:1)

1:1s are monthly meetings that you will need to schedule with your mentee using 7Geese. You’ll need to review your mentee’s answers to the pre-meeting questionnaire so that you can use that as the basis for the meeting agenda.

Objectives & key results (OKR)

You and your mentee will discuss their answers from the questionnaire. From this discussion, you should help your mentee develop OKRs that align with their goals and the firm values. The employee will then track their OKRs in 7Geese.

Reviews & Round Tables

At the end the quarter, you’ll generate a 7 Geese review report which will gather the  mentee’s data for the quarter. This will be presented to management in a Round Table meeting. In turn, you will present the Round Table results to your mentee in your next 1:1.

Once you’ve read the 1:1 and OKR guides, please take this quiz to reflect on the readings and make sure you understand its content.
Don’t worry, you can take this as many times as you’d like.
